I gotta think it's deliberate. These guys get coached on everything - including what to wear on camera, what to say, etc. This sends up a smoke signal to Tkachuk-to-STL fans to turn up the heat, sends a none too subtle message to the Sens that he has other suitors, and all of that distracting noise gives him an even better excuse when he underachieves or bolts in the near future.

Doesn't mean it'll amount to anything. Personally, I think he's the third most talented member of a family that's produced one bona fide elite player.

this is the truth. Literally Matthew was wearing an OB clarks hat at the Sens game with his family last week. It's just a place that is THE hockey bar for STL. There's a few places around the country known as the place to go when your in town for hockey players. OB clarks is STL's. The Elbow room is floridas. etc etc.
