As excited as I am to see him I hope they don’t rush it.
Right now the main guys are Walker/Scott/Church.
Then we’ll see looks from Fermin& Saggese.
All of these guys need looks.
Then the points about Noot are well taken.
Whether he stays or goes at the deadline he will need to play.
Earliest for Baez would be after the deadline or September.
There is zero downside to him staying at Memphis.

Cuse do you have any idea what real MLB talent looks like?? You could combine Scott, Church, Fermin, Saggesse into one giant JAG and they still wouldn’t have the raw explosive game changing talent of Baez. You really need more LOOKS at Scott, Saggese??? Church and Fermin are good backups but aren’t starters. The DOWNSIDE to Baez is staying in Memphis is he’s hitting HR there and not STL while Oli plays his favorite JAG rotation game.
This isn’t difficult
Play the BEST Talent
Play Starters
Win baseball games

Secondary goals to filter in during the season after the 3 above being 1a, 1b, 1c………at 10, 11, 12 are
REST
Keep bench viable
Give a guy a look
Ok Sarge!
Hey when do you meet with Bloom?????
Remember:
No crying
No whining
No binkys in your mouth
And by all means don’t tell them how many times you egged MO’s house
Good luck buddy!!!

Don't disagree with your assessment of the talent, but you are willfully out of touch with the process the team has undertaken. It will cause you daily unhappiness.
I just present facts…..my daily happiness quotient has nothing to do with what I type on CT.
If you haven’t noticed I tend to get a little JOY out of needling these over the top melodramatic clueless types who seem to think this comical forum is some sort of mental health indicator.

And GF gets the ultimate plaudit......moral support from Shady!
It just doesn’t get any better than that.
Good luck with Bloom!
STILL waiting on that SPECIFIC list of prospects!

lol Baez is hitting .218 at Memphis that won’t translate well to the majors he isn’t ready if he can’t hit AAA pitching well he won’t hit major league pitching well that’s why he was sent down you were way wrong he was ready to skip to the majors just laughably wrong

To me, the only real question is if Baez can actually play CF at the ML level. He’s young and his game has progressed a lot over the last year+. My hope is he can handle CF and let Church/Scott II figure out who the 4th OFer, defensive replacement is. The Cardinals this summer have the 13th pick in the draft and I think 6 picks in the top 85. It’s more than likely that a top OFer will be their first pick.

If Baez can play CF that answers so many questions. By 2028, the Cardinals could have an OF or Walker in RF, Baez in CF and a #1 pick from this draft banging on the door in LF. The other thing that is so unCardinal like is the size and athleticism of this OF. Walker and Baez are both big, strong and athletic. I’m looking forward to the Cardinals and this years draft to see how the Cardinals addresss this outfield.

I think they take bpa especially if Baez looks likely to be ready.

Exactly what was your prediction? I can’t remember for all the other Baez posts.
"'ll be surprised if Baez doesn't show steady progress in the next month or so".
Lol nice prediction. Who wouldn't expect a top prospect to show steady progress
