No
Just going off what was projected. Velasquez should make the team. Weatherholt is either way. His defense is there. Does he need more time in Memphis. It can be debatable

Plenty of J.A.G.'s on the 40 man to release.

I'm not sure there are anymore. I could see Fernandez being DFA'd. Or more likely Raquet first. I would imagine Roby goes on the 60 day, and maybe Hjerpe? But there is decidedly less garbage on the 40 man now.

Pushard could be sent back to Miami
Pitching today
Ball being hit hard but at someone
Last outing the same way

Graceffo should be on the team before Pushard. We have no need for Urias. Noot will only block better players, or at least players that in this season of seeing what we have should be playing instead of him. We have better options at catcher than Pages!!!Charles King wrote: ↑21 Mar 2026 13:25 pm Pushard could be sent back to Miami

Walker needs to be placed on the disabled list. Oh, and Oli needs to be reassigned within the organization.

Just when you thought Saggese was not making the team he goes and hits a dinger.
Go figure.

Re: STL Post projected Cardinal 2026 roster
60 day IL only works for major league. They'd be burning a year of service time for Hjerpe/Roby, which I think is unlikely
Just read that Nootbaar is only going on the 10 day IL. Hmm
They need to DFA a few players at this rate

We just paid $2m for Urias’ GG. Is he at risk of not making the roster?rockondlouie wrote: ↑21 Mar 2026 08:51 amRyan FernandezStrummer Jones wrote: ↑20 Mar 2026 14:57 pmI'm not sure there are anymore. No, but he should have never been signed! I’m not sure whose hare-brained plan that was but my guess is Oli.Carp4Cy wrote: ↑22 Mar 2026 05:54 amWe just paid $2m for Urias’ GG. Saggese should be on the team and rotated all over the field. He made a nice diving catch yesterday in the outfield, and looked really good at the plate. In three at bats, he drove in a run each time. I believe he’s more relaxed now and confident. Going forward, he’ll be more of the hitter he was in the minors.
Graceffo having options, and playing in the WBC cost him his roster spot. Probably Saggese too, now that I think about it.

I’ll piggy back on ya. What is the possibility that the WBC CAUSES players to get cut or not make starting lineup.Hoosier59 wrote: ↑22 Mar 2026 07:34 amNo, but he should have never been signed! You mention two. I gotta believe they would have been better represented by being in camp. Same for players on other teams.
Gotta believe that the org publicly says it supports it, but the individual the ones in charge might see it differently.
Be interesting to see the number of WBC players cut from teams or not a starter.
Could be a correlation.

And Noot went on the 15 day IL so they must expect him back sooner than later (my guess is mid-late April) once he gets clearance to run full speed.

That can be changed. Retroactive to the day. So he could still go on the 60 day
