As I have explained were perfect insight and clarity previously, DeWitt treasures loyalty above all things.
The Marmot was hired for one reason only: he has worked for the Cardinals since he was a child and will do and say exactly what he is told.
Whatever the ownership group and POBO decide, The Marmot will put on his skirt and cheerlead the plan.
That is why he was hired.
It is why he is still employed.
And you sir are right on the money...Schildt was also in the system for a very long time...but he doesn't share the same yes man quality ....that got the Marmot an extension

And that should be reason enough to give Olinthe benefit of the doubt.
or realize that Mr Bloom is just mo2.0
This offseason hes made it very clear that hes not Mo2.0.
Gutting the ML roster is something Mo never would have done.

Keeping all the same coaches, on the hand...

But you two can keep ignoring us and fluffing each other if it makes you feel better.
Yes, lots of rational and philosophical reasoning going on in this thread.

Some may say the good news of the Oli extension is that now that he is signed for 2 years PLUS 2029 , there will be no more threads to fire Oli .
They know he is here for a while now ! NOT !

And what rationale have you provided other than saying we just hate the guy? Like others said, it’s not just CT. Every other outlet has comments that show overwhelming doubt that he did anything to earn the extension.

No one seems to understand why he was extended, other than speculation he is going to be a caretaker through the lockout or no one else wanted the job.
