About what most thought . No surprise there.
Exactly as stated by most of us.

However I didn't like Oli's comments that JJW would be getting reps not only at 2B but also 3B and even SS.

Why put so much on the kid when he needs to be anchored at 2B?

He's NOT A SUP!

Morons :x
Because they really want him at third, numerous others Cant play second.
You can post that a million times BDog but it's not where he's going to play.

JJW is a potential all-star 2nd baseman, something he'd never be at 3rd base.
I don’t disagree. I just think with his hype that he reminds me of Brett. I’ll take 5 years of Brett and easily forget Arenado.
To me he's more a C. Utley type than he is a G. Brett type, and he's going to (hopefully) be stationed at 2nd base for the next ten+ years!
No argument. I think third becomes a priority. Sooner or later. The other n house options are who?

I know you like Gorman?, but I don’t see it. I think he’d play a better second if anything.

Oh wait BDog

In no world do I "like" Gorman............just understand he's going to be given the shot at 3B this season.

(And he's not a 2nd baseman either, more of a DH type)

I don't understand the angst with Gorman's defense.

If he stinks it up at 3b early on, he will be removed from the position, or play A LOT less.

I'm curious what computer model is telling Marmol that Gorman should be his third baseman.

Maybe Chase plays 2B because he did it better than David Bell.

More contemporary 3B players could be Bregman, Chapman, Garcia, Barger, Clement.

One tidbit is 2B has the highest attrition rate on the infield. 2B are cheaper to replace.

After Saggese, in no particular order:

Blaze Jordan
Jesus Baez
Rainiel Rodriguez
Yairo Padilla

I’m sure I’m missing a few, but those names are likely to come up in the next 12-18 months.

It has been the organization desperately wanting a 1st round pick to pan out and be something. They've been desperate for this for years. Pushed Gorman too soon, Carlson (to an extent), and Walker. They've wanted a homegrown star for so long, they've lost sight of actual production and fallen in love with the "hope" of these prized prospects.

NO doubt

Like J. Walk he's on his last leg this season.

C. Bloom has no stake in them, they're on Mo's resume and not his.

Got that right Juan

And now he wants to try Saggese in CF! ::crazya::

One of the worst we've ever seen setting a lineup and his batting order.
