It is over. It started at 9:40 CST this morning. It was broadcast on Peacock streaming service. You can search olympic hockey schedule and several links will come up. The Blues app has a list of all games with a Blues player involved.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 13:56 pm I'm not seeing where the game is being shown. What channel is it on?

ahhh ok. The only game I saw today is Sweden vs Italy. If Sweden doesn't put a touchdown that is not great for them.

Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
I agree it's tough to do both. That's why those Dallas games were perfect. Team plays hard and takes a tie game into the final minute and loses. We aren't going to the playoffs unless we rail off 15 or 16 wins in a row and have a couple of teams tank. I want that high draft pick.IsDurbanodoingtime wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:23 pmYah. Don't get this. You want young players to tank and pkay poorly. Great teaching model .2forDiving wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:20 pmIf it is led by those indicated what are you going to do park the kids in the pressbox the last 10 games? The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:06 pmYeah I would for 2 reasons. For starters, I want a talented, high end prospect to add to our team going forward. And secondly, I don’t want to give Army any room to think it’s ok to run this group back out again next season. We need to move on from Schenn, Faulk, and Binnington at a minimum.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:00 pmwould you be (upset) if that happened and it was led by guys like Dvorsky, Stenberg, Hollywood, Thomas, Snuggy? If those guys decide to drive the team into winning, I'm not going to get angry about young guys developing especially when they are playing against teams that are trying to make the playoffs.todd-parker wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 11:52 am Dalibor Dvorský scores for Slovakia in their Olympic opener. Getting geared up for that patented late-season Blues' run.

Steven Ellis said Dvorsky is going to be a number one C for the Slovaks for a long time. Said he was everywhere around the net today and scored the biggest goal of his life. This could end up being a huge confidence boost for Dalibor along with having another strong offseason and he could be a legit number 2 C next year.
Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
I believe JR isn't well informed then because teams like Detroit, Carolina and Anaheim are in playoff spots with significant cap space to work with.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 13:50 pm
Here is a very real thing that was brought up by JR yesterday. As of the Olympic break, the 16 teams that would be in the playoffs, 0 of them have over 2m in cap space available. Explain to me how a trade happens outside of Faulk/Suter/Binner or the other UFA guys?. It's really hard for the Blues to eat the rest of those caps.

Sweden-Italy tied 2-2 and the Swedes are outshooting Italy 34-6 late in the second period.
Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
Yea, the only reason Italy is still in it is because of their goalie.11WSChamps wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 15:25 pm Sweden-Italy tied 2-2 and the Swedes are outshooting Italy 34-6 late in the second period.![]()

3-2 Sweden
Re: Dvorský scores Olympic goal
To be honest I did not notice him at all until the goal. Ofcourse Finnish team is good and outplayed them, but not sure if based on this game I would say that.Bluesfan1978 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 15:13 pm Steven Ellis said Dvorsky is going to be a number one C for the Slovaks for a long time. Well they gave them a go till late anyway.
Italy no NHL players.
That was cool to watch though looking forward to tomorrow's games.

I don't want to put words in his mouth, so i'll retract the 0 number, maybe he said 2? I just remember him bringing it up, that there aren't a lot of viable trade partners and offseason is going to be where he thinks the bigger moves happen and he did say he just doesn't see a world where at least 1 core more doesn't happen.LGB73 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 15:16 pmI believe JR isn't well informed then because teams like Detroit, Carolina and Anaheim are in playoff spots with significant cap space to work with.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 13:50 pm
