would you be (upset) if that happened and it was led by guys like Dvorsky, Stenberg, Hollywood, Thomas, Snuggy? If those guys decide to drive the team into winning, I'm not going to get angry about young guys developing especially when they are playing against teams that are trying to make the playoffs.

Yeah I would for 2 reasons. For starters, I want a talented, high end prospect to add to our team going forward. And secondly, I don’t want to give Army any room to think it’s ok to run this group back out again next season. We need to move on from Schenn, Faulk, and Binnington at a minimum.

I agree it's tough to do both. That's why those Dallas games were perfect. Team plays hard and takes a tie game into the final minute and loses. We aren't going to the playoffs unless we rail off 15 or 16 wins in a row and have a couple of teams tank. I want that high draft pick.

Steven Ellis said Dvorsky is going to be a number one C for the Slovaks for a long time. Said he was everywhere around the net today and scored the biggest goal of his life. This could end up being a huge confidence boost for Dalibor along with having another strong offseason and he could be a legit number 2 C next year.

Here is a very real thing that was brought up by JR yesterday. As of the Olympic break, the 16 teams that would be in the playoffs, 0 of them have over 2m in cap space available. Explain to me how a trade happens outside of Faulk/Suter/Binner or the other UFA guys?. It's really hard for the Blues to eat the rest of those caps.

I believe JR isn't well informed then because teams like Detroit, Carolina and Anaheim are in playoff spots with significant cap space to work with.

To be honest I did not notice him at all until the goal. Ofcourse Finnish team is good and outplayed them, but not sure if based on this game I would say that.

I don't want to put words in his mouth, so i'll retract the 0 number, maybe he said 2? I just remember him bringing it up, that there aren't a lot of viable trade partners and offseason is going to be where he thinks the bigger moves happen and he did say he just doesn't see a world where at least 1 core more doesn't happen.
