It was a very fast paced episode that felt almost like a season finale. Has me wondering how they're going to keep that pace.

Great episode, so many things and stuff going on. And yes, you are right, felt like a season finale, and not episode 1. The writing and acting is just so good, some of the best on TV. Excited to see where this season goes.

Is Harrison Ford’s daughter in the show married. I don’t remember. Seems like the next logical place for this show to go is a love interest for Jason Segel’s character. Felt like they were flirting quite a bit at the wedding. Also was a decent topic of conversation between Ford and Segel at the wedding. Too obvious? Too stupid?

I thought it might be headed there too but E2 brings back the Colbie Smulders character from last season.

Yes she is married, and yes Harrison Ford does not like him. If you remember last season, they were at his house and his new wife and ex-wife were talking, and the son in law made a comment, and Ford said an all-time line "what if they are talking about how I f**k?" or something along those lines. Classic.

Yes, looks like a HIMYM reunion is in store.

Thanks. And yeah, I posted my hot take above after E1 and before I watched E2 last night. I did just learn that was Colbie Smulders from your post. Didn't pick up on that at all. Hope to see much more of her.

I'll also throw this out there, and I'm going to look it up. When Roy Kent went to the girls house and the husband (boyfriend, whatever) walks out of the kitchen, that guy looked familiar. I'll figure it out and it may be nobody.
