Yeah you get at least a first with the prospect, NYR fans will have this guys proverbial head. My prediction is we will see a new GM in New York before the next draft.BluesDom wrote: ↑04 Feb 2026 15:27 pmIs it?MandatoryDenial wrote: ↑04 Feb 2026 15:24 pmOuch that GM in New York is going to get roasted by the fans. That return is awful.Unfathomable wrote: ↑04 Feb 2026 14:09 pm Artemi Panarin to LA for Liam Greentree and a conditional third person elliotte.
What leverage did the Rangers have?
Greentree is a big winger who's crushing it in OHL. Rangers made out ok. They moved a lot of money too.
Panarin is an enigma.
Re: Panarin to LA

If I’m a Ranger fan not sure what more they could ask for. Everybody knew Panarin was gonna be moved. Greentree is decent prospect.MandatoryDenial wrote: ↑04 Feb 2026 15:31 pmYeah you get at least a first with the prospect, NYR fans will have this guys proverbial head. When you only get to deal with one team (rumor), and he has a complete NMC, this is what you get. He wasn’t signing with anyone, he could nix a trade and leave the Rags with zilch, and he got to call the shots. Rags did well to get Greentree for himBluesDom wrote: ↑04 Feb 2026 15:45 pmAgree-Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑04 Feb 2026 15:42 pmIf I’m a Ranger fan not sure what more they could ask for.
