Lots of options:

1.) Church
2.) Torres (My hope!)
3.) Saggese
4.) Fermin
5.) An outside FA signing
6.) Velasquez
7.) Noot - he "heels" in time (sorry, bad pun!)
8.) Herrera - If they don't like him behind the plate
9.) Burleson - If Herrera flops as C and they like hkm at 1st better than Burley.

I think it will have to play out a little more during ST.

Agree with list.
Lots of “options” but none that really stand out.
I’m still not convinced Herrera catches!
Too many better choices especially with Bernal and Rodriquez looming.
Wait and see if Herrera winds up in LF???

FA seems like a band-aid since Tucker and Cody are gone,
a trade might last longer.

IF the FO sees it's current roster having an
answer in it wouldn't they prefer a band-aide
and vice versa.

He needs to play left or DH unless someone else plays well enough.

I think Herrera is a better fit at first base. I understand why the Cardinals want Burleson at first but I think Burleson would be better in the outfield than Herrera.
