But when your ownership puts your GM on a pedestal despite pretty mediocre results for the entirety of his time here, you have a problem.

Mediocre results? Ridiculous. Until this last downturn, there was a period beginning with the hiring of Hitch, we led the entire NHL in wins. We won our first Cup. Just a nonsensical post. Army, like every GM, could be questioned, but his tenure here has been an indisputable success. He will go down as one of the best GM's in NHL history. First person in management in Double Triple Gold Club. one of the fastest to 800 wins. Easily top 8-12 All-time.

Fine build him a statue. What has he done the last 5 years? Millions in bad contracts on this team. He said 5% improvement 100 pt team. Pretty bad miscalculation I’d say.

So you were on record before the season saying they would one of the worst teams in the league? I didn't see many of those predictions here. I saw a lot of "comfortably in the playoffs." I myself had them as a bubble team. It's his job to predict, so he deserves a big part of the blame, but who knew nearly every player would be 30% off their normal production, both goalies would suck the first month, etc.
I was saying that Rollin's comment that he was "mediocre during the entirety of his tenure" was bull[shirt]. Nothing more, nothing less.

I missed that. My apologies. For the record I thought they were a bubble team as well before the Bolduc trade. It made them worse. Nobody expected the goaltending to blow up like it did that’s for sure.

I would not trade Thomas. We need his capability and proven ability to be somewhat competitive. Find him or play him with better wings and he’ll get those assists again. I’m sure we tried Berggren with him but definitely no Kyrou for then to pass backhand forth only to lose the puck without a shot or a wide out of the zone shot off the backboards

I would not trade Thomas. We need his capability and proven ability to be somewhat competitive. Find him or play him with better wings and he’ll get those assists again. I wouldn't either unless there are valid concerns about his ability to get healthy and return to form. I assume there are none. Now, if they offer up Celebrini . . . I'd certainly consider it.

These are the same goals that have been going in against Binnington and everyone wants Hofer. Hofer gives up the same goals and it’s not his fault.

Why is he starting Binny? Does he not care about winning?

Hofer plays instead and is also terrible. Why isn't he bringing in Binny?!?!?!
