Good for Bader. Wish him well.
Glad we didn’t sign him though.
Not a good fit!

Yeah everything I've read about him has been pretty positive...they say he does a ton with the youth...through fundraisers...through social media etc...cool story with him promoting that one young kids batting gloves ...one thing he did do why he was here is hustle...he plays hard...he does like to be noticed..lol....if he could go back on a ball at the same skill level that he comes in on them....he would be one of the best outfielders I've ever seen...but he is pathetic going over his shoulder....don't know if he can't judge it or if he's scared of the wall...mountaineer wrote: ↑26 Jan 2026 17:33 pm I'm happy for him. I appreciated his time with the Cardinals --- although I was not anxious for a reunion. He seems like a nice young man. I wish him well!

Re: Bader to San Fran
Wow. Cardinals should have snatched him while CT forum thought he’d be a good signing. He had opted out of a one year $10 million that was left on his contract, why would he have signed here for less?
We could’ve got them for $3 million a year and that idiot signed with San Francisco for $20.5 million.
Now we need to start screaming about a salary cap again and why the players would be beneficial to take one.
