TYVM for your critique of my statement. I am also old enough to remember when the cheering was spontaneous and not lemming driven. It was necessary when the names were not on the back of the sweaters but what do I know after 25+ years of STH and 50 years of fandom.

just pointing out that your prescription for everyone to match what suits you is monumentally short sighted and selfish. I am marveling and chuckling at your ability to be proud of that. It's the best some people can do. I say that as a 50 year fan myself, first live game in 75-76.

It won’t happen. But I’d swap out Vitale for Mike McKenna in a heartbeat. I really enjoy listening to him. Is McKenna working for anyone else right now?
