How gross can you get? This attitude is kind of like staying with a cheating spouse, have you no self respect? Because you simply cannot give up watching a bunch of 'roided up mutants line up and bash each other into the ground every Sunday? And you just want so bad for your own city and region to bend over and 'reap' the 'benefits' these cartels provide.
Find some self respect and support the teams you still have here if you care for them. Growing markets could threaten the last vestiges of civic pride in this regions while you all argue amongst yourselves.
Any chance the BattleHawks could, somehow, become an NFL franchise?

Bad blood means nothing to the scumbags of the nfl.SalaDaeng wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025 17:32 pmI'd put it at 0%. NFL teams average about 65K - 75K a game. They won't be impressed by 29K average. Also, too much bad blood with the NFL.todd-parker wrote: ↑27 May 2025 13:36 pmThe chance is not 0%, but very close. For St. Louis to get another NFL franchise, a multi-billionaire would need to step up with a plan when the league ever decides to expand. OR - St. Louis could be the site for a current franchise to move to once sea levels rise enough to put the coastal areas under water.
UFL Week 9 attendance figures:
St. Louis: 27,890 (Cards had home game at same time)
Memphis: 2,044
Birmingham: 10,344
Houston: 6,684
Week 9 @TheUFL Average: 11,740
Put a fork in the league.
Money is all that matters.

Maybe St Louis can lure the Niners here with a new stadium. What an awesome team

Missouri Senator Schmitt wants a team and thinks some of the settlement money can be used to help with the funding of a stadium if money is invested. Channel 4 reached out to Sam Page’s office, St.Louis Mayor’s office and A st.Charles County executive for comment. Supposedly the Taylors have some interest as well as the owner of WWT. It might be another 5-15 years before we get another shot. Roger has to retire and Stan & Jerry have to kick the bucket before the NFL can discuss expansion & STL in the same sentence.

I don’t think that’s a terrible ideaShady wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 11:57 amWould it be more prudent to pursue getting an NBA team?-ocaj wrote: ↑01 Jul 2025 21:35 pm Enough. The NBA is going to expand by two teams in the not too distant future. Seattle will likely be a shoo-in, with Vegas as another possibility. Vegas might be getting oversaturated by adding the Golden Knights, Raiders and Athletics recently. An NBA size building is going to be built in San Diego which could become a possibility.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 22:29 pmI don’t think that’s a terrible ideaShady wrote: ↑20 Jul 2025 11:57 amWould it be more prudent to pursue getting an NBA team?-ocaj wrote: ↑01 Jul 2025 21:35 pm Enough. I see STL as more of an NFL market than an NBA market. There's just a lot more history in STL with the NFL, and STL has been a good NFL market twice before.

San Antonio would probably get a team before St Louis. Texans can be rabid football fans. But St Louis does would have the support if there are two new franchises. Orlando and London are also possibilities. So I would not write off St Louis. Unless the local politicians shoot down a proposal to pay for a new stadium.

I doubt it. Jerruh doesn’t want a team there to take away from the Cowboys. And you’d think San Antonio would’ve done a better job supporting its UFL team.charley48 wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026 11:51 am San Antonio would probably get a team before St Louis. With that being said, it’s a pipe dream that they would come back here, even with the senator advocating for it.
I also don’t think Orlando would be viable. London would be but the whole travel and currency exchange are roadblocks for that.

NBA isn’t coming to St. Louis. Seems like it’ll be Seattle and Vegas.Frank Barone wrote: ↑25 Jan 2026 10:22 amThe NBA is going to expand by two teams in the not too distant future. I’ve heard some rumblings we could pursue WNBA but honestly who gives a [shirt]

It's kind of gross isn't it? In the meantime I would prefer that schmidt would butt out concerning St. Louis and the rams settlement money. No more for this cartel here, ever. As far as the crying masochists who can't get over not having a local team, will you get over it and move on? It's a stupid sport anyway.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 22:27 pmIt’s “jilted lover syndrome”
This town is still crying that Stan took their team so 8 years later they still show up to games for a team in a failing league just to “prove him wrong”
