Any chance the BattleHawks could, somehow, become an NFL franchise?
Haven't they had tremendous support?

The chance is not 0%, but very close. For St. Louis to get another NFL franchise, a multi-billionaire would need to step up with a plan when the league ever decides to expand. OR - St. Louis could be the site for a current franchise to move to once sea levels rise enough to put the coastal areas under water.
UFL Week 9 attendance figures:
St. Louis: 27,890 (Cards had home game at same time)
Memphis: 2,044
Birmingham: 10,344
Houston: 6,684
Week 9 @TheUFL Average: 11,740

Is the NFL seriously considering expansion? as far as I know the answer is NO. If they do I think St. Louis would be a possibility. I highly doubt any team would move and if they did likely to London. The Major issue with St. Louis would be a stadium plan and if there is enough corporate support to be spread for NFL with Blues, Cardinals and City SC.

Probably not, but if the NFL did want to expand, then St. Louis would be a successful market for that. And they have to know it.
I get all the rumbling about international markets but the travel, currency exchanges, and real estate probably prohibit that
They have to look at St. Louis and know that there will be a consistent fan base if the team is run well and committed to the city. I mean [shirt] the Cardinals and Rams were terrible for most of their tenure and still drew a good amount of fans. The TV ratings for St. Louis are always strong on NFL games. And when the Rams were successful, we know (bleep) well this was one of the best markets in the country.

The last time St. Louis was granted an NFL expansion franchise the Chicago Cardinals invaded and took over. IIRC, Dallas got the franchise!

Florio wrote this article: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootba ... 8-2-record
He wrote "The Battlehawks routinely draw the most fans of any team in the UFL. The fact that roughly 30,000 show up for every game of a spring league that’s struggling to resonate nationally should keep St. Louis on the NFL’s radar screen, despite the $790 million settlement the league had to pay after moving the Rams in a tangled web of bald-faced lies."

STL would be a very safe choice to become an NFL city via expansion or relocation. I would like to see a media member ask Roger Goodell about expansion sometime. With the NFL's strong interest in an 18 game schedule and 16 international games each year, they may need more teams to pull off these changes.

I'd put it at 0%. NFL teams average about 65K - 75K a game. They won't be impressed by 29K average. Also, too much bad blood with the NFL.todd-parker wrote: ↑27 May 2025 13:36 pmThe chance is not 0%, but very close. Put a fork in the league.

It would require a new stadium…
and that’s not going to happen…

Enough. Simply enough, you NFL simp masochists. Historically, the NFL has defecated directly on your city and all of you twice now. Yet so many of you still fantasize about letting them have their way with you again.
"Do you think they might give us a team again? Can we get down and beg? On our knees with wads of cash out for them? Pretty please? We really want it!!??"
How gross can you get? This attitude is kind of like staying with a cheating spouse, have you no self respect? Because you simply cannot give up watching a bunch of 'roided up mutants line up and bash each other into the ground every Sunday? And you just want so bad for your own city and region to bend over and 'reap' the 'benefits' these cartels provide.
Find some self respect and support the teams you still have here if you care for them. Growing markets could threaten the last vestiges of civic pride in this regions while you all argue amongst yourselves.
