The focus should be on Binner Schenn Faulk. Faulk has the most value should be here til the deadline. Binner should have already been gone because of the screaming match h with Monty earlier in the year. We’ll have to retain on that contract. Army is overvaluing Schenn again so he might stay. Forget about Kyrou Thomas Buch NTCs they’ll have to want to move which means we get less in a deal.

Getting better all the time
GIMME GIMME GIMME!

I know, I know…‘putting the cart before the horse’ and all that schtuff, but man is it exciting to think about picking in the top 2 on draft day, especially after havin to ride out this pathetically frustrating season.

Does anyone think Thomas would be moved?
I don’t think Thomas gets traded, However…
Thomas to Detroit for Raymond, ASP, and Emmit Finnie

Also, I don’t know that Jordan Binnington gets traded. However…
Binny to Buffalo that brings back Colten Ellis, Power/Byram, and a First?

Oddly, I don’t have clue where the guys I think do get moved (Schenn & Faulk) go.

Maybe Faulk to Boston if they can get the deal w/Calgary for Andersson? Returning Lohrei, Poitras and 1st round pick?

Schenn to LA for Turcotte?

I’m simply throwing those out there because the names were already out there in the ether
I heard the guy from Top Shelf Hockey predict

Faulk to Det
for
Nate Danielson and 1st ....( I think that would be great)

I dont think Binner, Buch greats traded

Sounds like Schenn may want to play with brother. I would be suprised if that would be Winnepeg but I could see that being Toronto. They dont have much but maybe Danford, Robertson?

I could see Sunny or Joseph getting moved for a late pick
Detroit needs defense and veteran leadership at the center position. I could see Yzerman working a deal to get Luke and Brayden to Detroit. That would be a big win for that team. What would it cost and what could the Blues get back? I’m not good at this but I think Danielson has to be the ask.

It will be interesting to watch the Pacific division. It's all but guaranteed that at least one wild card will come out of the Pacific. Hopefully San Jose, Anaheim and Seattle decide to push some chips in because they have good draft capitol and deep systems. Utah is a team to watch also.

With many folks on here ready to show Kyrou the door (and it feeling like he might welcome a fresh start as well...my opinion), I was wondering what a realistic trade would look like for him.

When looking through team fits, it is hard to find one that makes a ton of sense in terms of play style fit, cap space, etc.

Among the bottom teams in scoring that could probably use a boost are both NJ and LA. LA has plenty of cap space, but already has Kempe and Laferriere on RW. Plus, Hiller runs an unabashed defense-first system.

NJ also can't score this year, but they have next to no cap space, so we'd have to take salary back. That said, this would be by far the best fit for Kyrou playing for Keefe. He could thrive next to Hischier.

But what to take back? They are looking to trade Hamilton and his 9 mil (2 more years after this one), but that is not really a fit for us (unless we trade Faulk separately?). We could take back a combination of Mercer and Brendan Dillon (pair him with LM) at 4 each to make the money works as well.

Thoughts on Mercer, Dillon and NJ 2nd for Kyrou?

Would love to get our 2nd back from the ducks. That wouldnt be the top of my priority list but would be a nice get.

Fowler
Binnington
Faulk
Schenn
Joseph

For me Fowler is atop the list i dont want to pay a 35 year old aging LHD $6 mill with a NTC. He currently has a 4 team NTC now. Unless the Blues absolutely feel like Lindstein CANNOT play in NHL i guess but that doesnt matter because we have Kessel and i want to see Fowler go
I would like to keep Fowler for one more year as he is a great mentor and still plays better than all but 1 of the Blues current D-Men. The other four you listed are on my list with Buch #5.

Binnington for a first and more? Every day and twice on Tuesday if that was possible.

Just split-balling here; but Thomas for Misa wouldn't be horrible.

Good points. Ive thought that teams that would be easier to make deals with would be LA, NJ and Det. for the reasons you listed. I would personally love to get back two top prospects and a first for Kyrou
