Thomas to Detroit for Raymond, ASP, and Emmit Finnie
Also, I don’t know that Jordan Binnington gets traded. However…
Binny to Buffalo that brings back Colten Ellis, Power/Byram, and a First?
Oddly, I don’t have clue where the guys I think do get moved (Schenn & Faulk) go.
Maybe Faulk to Boston if they can get the deal w/Calgary for Andersson? Returning Lohrei, Poitras and 1st round pick?
Schenn to LA for Turcotte?
I’m simply throwing those out there because the names were already out there in the ether

Faulk to Det
for
Nate Danielson and 1st ....( I think that would be great)
I dont think Binner, Buch greats traded
Sounds like Schenn may want to play with brother. I would be suprised if that would be Winnepeg but I could see that being Toronto. They dont have much but maybe Danford, Robertson?
I could see Sunny or Joseph getting moved for a late pick
Re: Mock Trades
Wow - do you have some way over evaluation of Blues players…basically none of these guys will bring back 50% of what you have hereBleedingBleu wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 22:01 pmI don’t think Thomas gets traded, However…Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 21:44 pm Lets here your mock trades!

Re: Mock Trades
Please execute that Faulk to Detroit trade immediately. I would be stunned if we got Danielson alone for Faulk, and absolutely agree that deal would be great for us.Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 22:28 pmI heard the guy from Top Shelf Hockey predictBleedingBleu wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 22:01 pmI don’t think Thomas gets traded, However…Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 21:44 pm Lets here your mock trades!

I could see both Schenns going to Toronto to play for Chief. I think we should just try to acquire Luke from WIN or sign him this offseason as a vet stop-gap to help transition Mailloux into the top-4 after trading Faulk.
Agree on selling a bottom player or two for later picks. Including the Russians, we've got prospects knocking on the door of an already crowded room. Is Army going to leave Steen to the tough choices, or will we see some player movement soon?

Re: Mock Trades
I’d love Danielson in a deal with Detroit. He was the guy I wanted in that draft. With that said, I’d be happy with Max Plante as well.

I think Michael Brandsegg-Nygård is more realistic in a Faulk trade.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑18 Jan 2026 11:31 am I’d love Danielson in a deal with Detroit. He was the guy I wanted in that draft. With that said, I’d be happy with Max Plante as well.

Detroit would never pay that price. Dream on.

Blues Send Justin Faulk to the Panthers in Suggested Trade
January 16, 2026 by Andrew Willis
The author applies more logic in the article if anyone wants to understand the “How” he came to “over evaluate” this particular Blues player.Panthers Receive:
Justin Faulk (percentage of salary retained varies depending on when the trade happens)
Blues Receive:
Evan Rodrigues
2026 second-round pick (either the Panthers or Capitals’ pick)
Vladislav Lukashevich
This trade benefits both teams. The Panthers are getting a player who can help them as they seek another Stanley Cup, while the Blues get draft capital, a prospect, and a player who can fill some possible voids.

Re: Mock Trades
If that Faulk to Wings for Danielson AND a 1st is even 1% true that is the ideal move. Blues need a 1st AND a top end prospect for Faulk.Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 22:28 pmI heard the guy from Top Shelf Hockey predictBleedingBleu wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 22:01 pmI don’t think Thomas gets traded, However…Zizzle1297 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2026 21:44 pm Lets here your mock trades!

Re: Mock Trades
I would 100% look to deal
Fowler
Binnington
Faulk
Schenn
Joseph
For me Fowler is atop the list i dont want to pay a 35 year old aging LHD $6 mill with a NTC. He currently has a 4 team NTC now. Unless the Blues absolutely feel like Lindstein CANNOT play in NHL i guess but that doesnt matter because we have Kessel and i want to see Fowler go

Maybe its just me, but no first then don't bother to call. A first is required in any discussion of trade. If I am the Blues GM that first is where discussions start. Don't have one, then save yourselves some time and don't call.

Re: Mock Trades
Danielson looks like a legit Center prospect may be a great add to the prospect pool. I would add something if that what it takes to get Danielson away from yzerman not sure what that looks like though. Would the Wings make that deal seems like a steep ask for Faulk. Faulk is however signed another year and having great production now.smilinjoefission wrote: ↑20 Jan 2026 09:50 amIf that Faulk to Wings for Danielson AND a 1st is even 1% true that is the ideal move. This was staged by the author simply because the Panthers don’t have a First this year.
I’m looking for those potential picks in the teens-early twenties type return.
