Yes it would mean the Blues are bad again next year more than likely. Might be best thing long term though.

If Hagens is a lot closer to a Celebrini than to Dvorsky then you might be on to something. Thomas is young enough to at least make an inquiry more than a laughing matter.

I dont see Dvorsky as a Celebrini that seems certain but i think DD may surprise some folks at some point with his production. early to mid 20s i expect him to be a 1A/1B type center

He needs to change the transmission, he needs another gear. He seems to play very well defensively and in transition but he's not fast or quick enough with his feet to be a true playmaker or puck supporter offensively. I see him veer off to net front or slot or an open space a lot because others are beating him to the puck. He's in Schenn territory, only worse at the moment.

I really like Hagens, so the idea is pretty interesting. I like Lohrei as well, for that matter. But it's complicated since Thomas, for better or worse, is kind of indispensable for the Blues.

He wont be 21 till June hes doing great flashes unreal skill he is actually moving better than i saw in the past when i really concerned. If Dalibor can get into the low teens in goals scored this season with 30 games left thats a successful first NHL campaign also have to consider hes on a really bad team. I have zero concern we have our center tandem now regardless of this seasons output from Thomas.

In my opinion...not near enough in return for the Blues. We would get more by splitting up Faulk and Thomas and trading them separately.
I don't think the Blues will have any trouble treading Faulk and getting a 1st + for him. Which means you are moving Thomas for 2 lottery tickets that may or may not pay off and a second. Hard pass for me. i don't think the Blues will trade thomas...but if they did, people on this board will be amazed at the haul that he brings back.
