3v3 or not, I’d prefer he focused on defense because if 17 loses the puck it’s a 2v0 the other direction.

Sick goal, sure. But I’d prefer he stayed at the blueline
Crazy thought here, but I bet his team preferred that he scored the game winning goal in OT.
Worked out this time. Against a better team they may not be so lucky
The thing is, he wasn't positioned there on accident. He saw space (IQ), took advantage of a defensive lapse and capitalized. I don't think he was taking an unnecessary risk. He identified an opportunity then absolutely dominated.
Great response and 100% accurate

Did you not just oppose his selection in the draft but thought it was fool hardy?

So many posters on here were really ragging on this pick.

And yes, there's a long way to go to know how this ends up.
I also admitted that I could be wrong up to this point in another post earlier today.

Correct. He did drop into the soft spot in the zone for the pass.

It was a good play. And an absolutely beautiful goal. I don’t know if I’d want him doing that all the time.

I’m glad it worked.

Only problem I have with him is potential healthy issues...if that isn't the case then obviously a great pick...skill wasn't his concern, it was health

That was one of the critiques coming into the draft. His shot needed more mustard. He keeps impressing.

Still can’t believe Galvas passed through the draft twice

Its crazy what a healthy offseason and a few extra pounds can do for strength and confidence. Good for him. Looking for the goal vid now!

Nice.

The PP units could use more of that

Isn’t he on the smaller side?

Do you know how the league feels about small, soft, Swedes

The Brantford Bulldogs roster has him at 6’3 185.

Which is still about 35 to 40 pounds less than what I’d like to see him play at

Much appreciated. I just assumed they would do a weigh in for the tourny. Thanks again

You’d think.

They have Galvas at 5’10 147lbs.
