Stenberg is definitely here to stay

Montgomery lives to rave. He says weird things. I’m concerned his demons are back and he’s coping in ways that led to his last firing

The horrible start will be hard to erase from the stat sheet. On a positive note, the Blues have more regulation wins than any team in the Pacific. THAT is amazing.
The RW thing is insane. To have more than everyone in the west besides the big three! And the Blues only have ONE less than MINN who is 13 games over .500!!

The Blues are 1 game under .500 yet somehow only have 1 less “REAL WINS” than a team 13 over!!

Losing Suter is going to hurt. It's also a great opportunity for the younger players, especially Stenberg. DD loses his comfy blanket, though. He'll be tested a bit more.

Harry York 37 wrote: 29 Dec 2025 10:52 am I reckon that Suter has been playing hurt for a few weeks. His play tailed off quite a bit. If he comes back as strong as he was in the first quarter of the season, he will be most welcome.
The team announced Monday morning that Suter will be sidelined for four weeks with an ankle injury suffered Saturday. Fabbri will dress in his place after sitting out one game.

I hate to say it but I really fear the only way for long term improvement is if Sunny gets hurt. He cost them a huge goal on the PP the other night with another of his blunders and yet, he’s still on the PP even though his offense is AWOL. Last 14 games 0,0,0 -14. Yeah, let’s give him more PP mins

Yeah, don’t get this move at all. He has cooled a bit, but is still making some nice plays. Seems like a better long term fit than Fabbri, yet he sits. I don’t get Monty sometimes and I think he is part of the issue this year.

Because Monty is a [fork]ing chud idiot. He's nothing more than a one-hit wonder. Berggren has been everything the Blues needs; he skates, he can pass, he shoots, he plays good D as well as offense. He's everything Monty believes Joseph to be, but only Berggren actually is that person.

At least he kept Joseph on the 4th line I feared he would be inserted into the top 6 for some poor reasoning.

I was hoping the * meant that he was just not a practice participant for some reason, but if he's a healthy scratch that's a real head-scratcher. He's been a really nice infusion of skill and speed.

^ This. I’ve lost faith in Monty. Sunny is WAY overused and guys “bringing it” get sat. Maybe he’s been told to secretly tank for a top 5

Ouch.
I've been impressed by the guy.
Certainly not flashy, but plays a very sound game.

Pregame listing sabres as 19-4-4 really threw me.

19-14-4 folks…

I sure hope we score 1st

I watched Hofer behind the goal and was watching the Buffalo players and they looked ready for him.. staying back a little bit from the goal line anticipating a bad pass
