Well, the Cards just ponied up 20 million in the Gray trade purely for the purpose of obtaining higher quality prospects in return.

Don't recall a lot of that happening under the previous regime, at least not in the 20 million+ range.

And if the suspects don't pan out?

Then BDWJr's heirs are out $20M and will have to somehow get by on $3,980,000,000 instead of $4,000,000,000.
