I have a set of Pro Tacks that I’ve had for years.Tabasco Flowers wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 20:20 pmI gave my old Tacks to my daughter with the caveat to never give them back, no matter how much I beg her.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 14:11 pmHeading to Johnny Mac's to get the old CCM's sharpened up. My 16 year old son son will 100% agree with you, he loves his CCM Tacks XF. He will not wear anything else.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 08:25 amI have a set of Pro Tacks that I’ve had for years.Tabasco Flowers wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 20:20 pmI gave my old Tacks to my daughter with the caveat to never give them back, no matter how much I beg her.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 14:11 pmHeading to Johnny Mac's to get the old CCM's sharpened up. One of the Midget teams I coached had a contest of whose gear could smell the worst. Back then, some of the "locker rooms" (more like large closets) had no HVAC.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 08:12 amhahaha... so true.. hockey equipment, especially gloves, can have a very lingering odor. especially if not air dried after being usedAbsolut wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 16:02 pmWhen I moved I opened the bag my ccms were in. The only smell that rivals hockey equipment is lacrosse equipment. It’s basically the same equipment obviously, but since lacrosse games tend to get played in warmer weather. That stuff gets thrown in the trunk and it marinates!

Mine never did for whatever reason...but I never wore elbow pads and they might get the worst of it.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 09:57 am The only smell that rivals hockey equipment is lacrosse equipment. That’s amazing that yours didn’t smell. I still remember being in the middle of a huddle when my son played in high school and I thought I was gonna die! The smell definitely brought back memories of hockey, but it was brutal!BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 10:07 amMine never did for whatever reason...but I never wore elbow pads and they might get the worst of it.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 09:57 am The only smell that rivals hockey equipment is lacrosse equipment. Well…….bad news, but I always fear an ACL when something like this happens. Little by little, the decision to tank is being made for Army.
Re: Holloway helped off the ice at practice
Just randomly looked for news for the first time today about 5 minutes ago and thought it was good that I didn’t see anything……
Man just when he was really turning it on! This team is going to be tested, tons of games coming up. Wasn’t Snuggs injury only 4 weeks or so?
EDIT: no at least 6. If the Blues are being extra careful bringing Kyrou back, now might be the time to take the bandage off

Sucks that this is becoming a lost year but it may be for the best long term

Re: Holloway helped off the ice at practice
It's good news in the context Dylan will eventually heal and it shouldn't bother him long-term. He should get quite a few games in at the end of the season and hopefully be at full speed next season. He wasn't full speed at the beginning of this season, just starting to come around with former separation speed and aggressiveness. Have to hope there's no lingering mental hesitancy in his game.
