When I moved I opened the bag my ccms were in. My god it smelled like a skunk orgy. Zipped that up fast and threw the bag, skates and whatever else happens to be in the bag away.2forDiving wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 15:58 pmThis leads me to a stupid question, because I haven’t played in 20 years where do you get skates sharpened these days? Condensed schedule is leading to more injuriesBleedingBleu wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 15:08 pmI’m sure playing themselves into a hole from late October into November likely heightened the chances of injury, by intensifying the importance of early season games due to raised stakes and the messaging coming from Management.
However, I’m not so sure we can blame a losing streak onThanksgiving Prepan off-ice injury at home.

It's a real shame for the player and the team if Holloway is even hobbled. He was just starting to show flashes of his pre-injury form.

Wow. Just when you start to think that there is at least one cornerstone in place for the future...
I feel for Holloway. This is a big setback on top of the earlier one.

I gave my old Tacks to my daughter with the caveat to never give them back, no matter how much I beg her.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 14:11 pmHeading to Johnny Mac's to get the old CCM's sharpened up. They're gonna need me any day now.

Be thankful we won the Stanley Cup. It really does take a season where things just have to line up perfectly.
Re: Holloway helped off the ice at practice
It sucks and hopefully he’s not hurt long term. He does play hard and kinda recklessly. This gives us a chance to see what rookies can step up, as the team has played horribly out of sync anyway this year. Look towards the future. Maybe they’ll move Fabbri up a line. He’s played great imo.

On one end, if he gets hurt again, it's going to diminish his value, so if you want to bring him back the price gets cheaper if he is out for a few weeks-months. On the other, i'd rather just have him able to play and pay the extra dollars.

Gavin McKenna would look great in a Blues uniform!

Talked about 16 months ago. Gosh, I just wish these professional sports teams had physical therapists to help heal, correct and strengthen things after an injury so the players can play again.Unfathomable wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 14:17 pmYea he talked about it on Strickland's Hockey sense podcast right after we signed him..
