Good first period.

Bad news. Only one really bad defensive breakdown and of course it ends up in the back of the net. Cant figure out why multiple forwards leave good ice for bad and chase the puck along the boards.

Good news. Offense and the forecheck is working when our defensemen have a chance to be in the play. The mailman gets one and there's been a bunch of chances from the defense. Fabbri looks good again tonight. Weve had sustained pressure in the offensive zone a few times.

Really curious to see how they play in the second, which hasnt been a good period for the Blues. We need to reverse the trend. I hope we possess the puck and play in their end - no easy ice for them either.
