Re: GDT: Blues at Preds 7:00 FanDuel
It's been a very frustrating season so far because at the beginning of the year I thought that they could be a playoff team but that doesn't appear to be in the cards. They are not talented enough to skate with the upper end teams. Not tough enough to pound on other teams. It's pretty obvious that this isn't going to be a quick fix but hopefully it won't be too bad for too long.

Wow. I'm glad that we were playing one of the very weakest teams in the NHL tonight. Otherwise, it would have been a very embarrassing loss. In fact, some may start questioning why Army is leading Team Canada.

The team is very bad and also Binner has been very bad. There's obviously some interplay there as one can cause the other. But only Hofer has shown flashes of respectability.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:11 pmThey are always outplayed. In every aspect. It's not the goalie!!!! It's not the goaltending!! Good Lord!slimjay63801 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:09 pmYou blame all 6 or just 3 or 4 on him? Have you watched any of this game?stlblue06 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:08 pmAlmost every prime chance has gone in. He has a .750 save % this game to go with his dead last .865 save% for the season. Binnington is a major problemslimjay63801 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:05 pm Well, thank God Monty pulled Binny because thats the reason for this 4 goal loss. LMAO..
He can’t even help keep our new starter fresh when we have a game tomorrow

This is what frustrates me. 7-2 with under 5 minutes and it’s the same PP unit. Can we see Broberg on the point? Or Mailloux? As I’m typing, I see Bro out there

Kyrou, Snuggerud, Bjugstad, Torop and Walker is a lot to miss. They could certainly be more competitive1983cougar wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:27 pm It's been a very frustrating season so far because at the beginning of the year I thought that they could be a playoff team but that doesn't appear to be in the cards. Before the power-play, we had only five shots in the third period
I would say that during the 5 on 5 every time we’re down the other zone, we should be shooting on goal and then have one or two others rush the net

I believe it was the second goal against where Monty had out Mcging, Kaskimaki, Sunny, Tucker, and Mailloux, and it was after a tv timeout. They got caught, iced it, then scored against . Why would you put that group out in that moment?WilliamWestcliffe wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 20:06 pm First and foremost this group of players is dog [shirt]. That’s been beaten to death.
That out of the way, there’s a real real real big problem behind the bench. The fundamentals in literally every single aspect are just atrocious: passing, skating, shooting, checking, coverage, break outs, power play…literally everything on the ice is so flawed it’s hard to believe this team has ever practiced.
I’m not sure how or where you even begin to fix this.
There’s been a lot of lows over this organizations history but never an era where it’s felt so stuck. This is a cap team with NMCs stuffed in every pocket.

I'm really not digging these new loser jerseys anymore.
