That is exactly what happened. I think I was about to post and had to take a phone call and forgot about it.-Blueski- wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 13:14 pmThat looks like what happens when my cat steps on the keyboardTony Palazzolo wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 07:54 am v cccccccwqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqa2366666666666666

The funny thing is Tony, is your cat’s post is not the most unintelligible thing posted on here in the course of a day. Hell, it might not even be in the top 10!Tony Palazzolo wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 13:35 pmThat is exactly what happened. Re: 3-0-0 without Kyrou. 8-12-7 With Kyrou
Still way too early to make the comparison but there was no denying that, during the seasons of 19-20 and 20-21, the Blues record without Tarasenko in the lineup was drastically better than when he was... Just saying...
AI Overview
During the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 NHL regular seasons, the St. Louis Blues had a significantly better record when Vladimir Tarasenko was not in the lineup. This was largely due to Tarasenko missing most of both seasons due to recurring shoulder injuries.
2019-2020 NHL Regular Season (71 games total)
Vladimir Tarasenko only played in 10 games during this season.
With Tarasenko in the lineup: The Blues' record was 5-4-1 (W-L-OTL) across the 10 games he played in before sustaining his injury.
Without Tarasenko in the lineup: The Blues' record was 37-15-9 across the other 61 games, during which they finished 1st in the Central Division.
2020-2021 NHL Regular Season (56 games total)
Tarasenko played in 24 games this season, returning later in the season after recovering from another shoulder surgery.
With Tarasenko in the lineup: The Blues' record was approximately 10-12-2 in the games he played.
Without Tarasenko in the lineup: The Blues' record was approximately 17-8-7 in the 32 games he missed.
As AI stated, I'm sure a lot of it had to do with his shoulder and the fact he wasn't 100%, as the team was terrific the next season when Vlad had final full season (and a career year statistically) with the Blues.
But the fact remains, simply have your "best player" on the ice, doesn't always mean it helps the team. I'm not nearly as sour on Kyrou as I was on Vladdy, though, especially with how well Jordan's improved his defenisve game the last 2 seasons.
