FWIW, per BTV:

Brendan Donovan: 32.1

FOR

Carlos Lagrange: 4.9
“OR” (as stated in the article, not “and”)
Elmer Rodriguez: 6.0

Exactly! I love Hot Stove talk as much as anyone, but these are all trash proposals and aren't worth discussing. Most Cards Talkers could write more compelling articles than that one.

If you learned to read your own threads, I tell you time and time again the type of players we can expect in return. And once you share an original "Invigorating Trade Proposal"....then I will.

Until then...Happy Gobbler Day, you Turkey

Cop out, again. We need some games so you can make yourself useful. Good reporter. By the way, you claim that trading Donovan won't get an All Star caliber player in return. Later, a poster felt that's what the return should be. It's just Hot Stove talk. Don't be so vindictive.

It all makes sense when one realizes the linked articles and thread titles/topics are just pretexts.

I would love to do that. I am always concerned that my posts on here are too long. There is a difference between an article and a post. Scouty will be the first to tell me that nobody wants to read a novel on here.

I would take scenario #3 - trade Donovan for Noah Cameron, straight up.

Cameron is the left-handed Michael McGreevy. Is that okay? He's a fine pitcher, but we just saw his ceiling. KC would jump on that.

I think George Bowles from MSM is talking from his Bowels! We are never going to get Lagrange and Hess for Donovan. I will have some of what he is smoking. You got to just say no to MSM for trade proposals in the future Shady. They are usually not in align with realistic thoughts.
As I said above Shady, please in the name of God, quit posting trade proposals from MSM or any other AI generated sites you come up with this junk. I would prefer you come up with your own proposal, and then the crowd here probably wouldn't beat you up so bad, due to the fact you actually put some thought in to it! Otherwise, prepare to continue to get hammered by the board. Your call Shader...

After only one big league season, you are sure he cannot improve? IMO you could be wrong.

mattmitchl44 wrote: 26 Nov 2025 11:14 am Yeah, the Woo trade would be a slam dunk.

BTV

Woo +71.7

Donovan +32.1
Romero +1
Walker +5.4
That says it all. Dumb proposal and would get the M’s GM fired immediately.
