So ignoring the NTC guys does this mean:
Are these the only guys they want trade?
They won’t listen on other players?
Are these three the most valuable trade chips that will bring the most value?
This is not to say they won’t but I was hoping they would present more of an open book for trade possibilities.
By naming a few guys specifically does not mean they are ruling out listening on other players IMO
Wanting to trade a guy vs. willing to trade a guy are two different things. An Ex. Bloom may not 'WANT' to trade Ivan Herrera ' but if a team offers something that may blow Bloom out of the water , Bloom may be 'WILLING ' to trade him if the deal makes sense.

So it sounds like they're not nearly at the point of moving on from Walker/Gorman, rather giving Bloom a fair chance to evaluate them in his first season truly overseeing the big league club. Good plan imo because they are at their lowest value and you never know what can happen. Maybe Walker will have his Jo Adell breakout season.
Yea I can’t wait to see Gorman suck for another season or two until bloom finally figures yep he does suck just like he has proven

Surprised JoJo is being shopped. Figured he would have a big role in the bullpen.
I like it. Bloom believes in selling in high instead of waiting until their value is low then trading them quite a change from Mo. he will shop Jo Jo if someone wants to give up good pieces for two years of control he will do it if they don’t then he will keep him

I think its smart to trade guys if the return helps the team. Just didn't expect Romero's name to be out there.
It would seem to me that the obvious play here is a combination of most everyone mentioned. It has been no secret that most any player on this team is available outside of the future cornerstone players. Donovan, Noot, and Romero are the easy names. Bloom will wait and see what surfaces on the rest. I am sure it will take a couple of throw in names to unload Arenado and his contract. If Bloom has to go into the spring having only unloaded Arenado and Gray he is set to do that. By not mentioning the other names he can state there is a legit reason to keep evaluating and none are the wiser they were being shopped around. I think that is going to be the biggest question out of all of this. Do Walker and Gorman get free passes onto the team once more if they suck wind in ST? Who gets a legit look out of the minors?

In his Sunday Post article , Derrick Goold said that Bloom and his 3 asst. GM's met with both agents and Gm's . When meeting with the various GM's , the 4 of them floated that they are open to 'listening to offers' and specifically mentioned 3 players .. Donovan, Nootbaar, and Romero .
What all 3 have in common is that they have 2 years remaining prior to free agency so open to moving them this winter.
Of course , Arenado and Gray both have NTC provisions and are in a separate category as they must have OK to trade those two unlike the 3 names floated above.
We are shopping Nootbar and Romero because they are 2 years from free agency? Does Bloom think they are going to sign unaffordable contracts?

This can't be true.
No, he’s doing it to accumulate prospects…
Why only these guys and who is going to give us a good prospect for Nootbar and Romero?

I think Goold also said Donovan.
About the other two, I’m sure Romero could get you something. Nootbar? Maybe something. No reason not to put out feelers.

JoJo is going to have multiple suiters.
I wonder if he may be bundled w/NADO or even S. Gray?
Gray is as good as any of the top 3 or 4 FA starting pitchers.
And at 35M payroll price tag, he can be had for perhaps a hundred million less total investment.
For a team looking to compete and bet big on 2026, while being wary of the planned 2027 lockout, he may actually be far more attractive than this year's FA crop.
Bottom line: he may have far more value than most expect.
That said, the larger question is where he would and would not be interested in playing next season.

I'm sure it's more than just these 3 players or we are in big trouble.

Not If he keeps swinging like Peter Bourjos with a fly swatter
