Yes, even Superman. The Cardinals are re-setting the roster and so you have to go to market with just about everybody. See if there is something out there that serves the roster better going forward. I firmly believe that Burleson is playing in the top end of his range. Might he have a better season? He might. Marginally. This is what selling high looks like. (Think Kent Bottenfield) We have watched this year as Nootbaar’s trade value has fallen until he is worth less than 20% of what he was a year ago. Don’t do that with Burleson. By all means, if a team won’t pay for him properly- keep him- but find out. Many of the same teams that are interested in Donovan will be interested in Burleson. The contending teams that have need of a 1B, LF, or RF include; Seattle, Boston, Texas, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Cleveland, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

If other trades don’t materialize on suggestions I have made earlier as priorities, I would want to see if something could be worked out with Texas for Alejandro Rosario, or the Dodgers for River Ryan. If for some reason these names just won’t work, there are other places Burleson can go.

We can see what happened last year. How much farther can attendance fall? It's only a guess. I would think most of the fringe fans have already been lost. Mo being gone should bring back some people. What I do know is winning brings fans back. But how much farther attendance would fall is an unknown. But I think they are preparing for the lost revenue by lowering the payroll. I would be shocked if all the ntc's weren't traded.

I'm not convinced winning will bring fans back. We were 5 over .500 at the break and attendance was declining. I think primarily the TV deal has hurt attendance. People aren't paying $20 a month for something they used to get for free and as result interest in the games has decline. I may be a tiny minority for I can't stand DH baseball and that's why I wouldn't watch even if the games were available.

We could become Kansas City. Playoff team in 2025 and 25th in attendance. The made the WS twice and then did an epic dump and fans have not returned.

Me personally-I quit going a couple years before covid. Im with you on the dh but I buy directv which is 100$ a month and I watch every game. I wouldn't buy directv if they didn't have the games. I go to Springfield every chance I get and watch AA. Hammon field is super nice. I can go on Friday and see 3 games, hotel and food plus a kid and a grandkid for < 1 game at Busch.

i saw those as well -- a good start. All one has to do is look at how the blues have treated their fans, you may not agree with what they are trying to do but they do their best to explain things and not treat us as dolts.
