Here come the trade proposals where we trade a player who is persona non grata (Kyrou) for players who are studs (Tkachuk). Welcome to the asylum.
Whether or not he actually ever becomes available, but if word got leaked that he was and that he was willing to waive, there would be no limit of suitors for him.
he is a perennial 30 goal scorer with blazing fast speed and on a very reasonable contract. If there's a team that doesn't need him to be anymore than that, he could potentially take them to the next level.
The first two out the door should be Buch and Schenn. Older players whose contracts are only going to look worse as they age. I was at the game Saturday(first in 30 years actually since I live out of town) and have to say I was disappointed in Schenn. Couple times he was lazily skating back on D when he was caught behind the play. Not a good look for your captain not hustling back to make it 5v5.
Kyrou you need the skill and hope the effort comes with it. He's going to have more competition for top 6 minutes from Snugg and Carbonneau in the future so maybe that motivates him.

I agree that Buch should absolutely be shopped, but his value is likely negative right now. Kyrou at least has a somewhat positive value so that is why he'd be a logical choice.
