World Series trivia
Shohei Otani set the record last night and this morning for the most intentional walks in a World Series game with 4.
Four players held the record with 3 IBB--Rudy York, David Ortiz, Barry Bonds, and a St Louis Cardinal player.
Name the Cardinal player. For extra credit, give the year and, what the hell, the pitchers who issued the walks.

There have been two 18 inning games in the history of the world series. Brad Paisley has performed the National Anthem for both.

Re: World Series trivia
Feel sorry for Brad ! While sure he was paid handsomely for performing , the MLB does not wish any more 18 inning games !George Zipp wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 11:46 am There have been two 18 inning games in the history of the world series. Brad Paisley has performed the National Anthem for both.
If fans see him come out for the anthem , some will sigh and say Oh boy ! Going to be another wee hours at the ballpark tonight !

Not really. We are 5-3 headed for a toilet bowl. I think with so much chatter about Kiffen to Florida, I think LSU wants a part of that action.45s wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 12:37 pmTroubling times in Red Stick..sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 12:31 pmBest firing in football. Close. Settlers found a bloody red pole planted on the banks of the Mississippi significantly as a boundary marker. They named it le Baton Rouge.45s wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 12:52 pmI think it comes from the weapons a local Native American tribe used..sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑28 Oct 2025 12:41 pmNot really. 2011 World Series, game 5
The pitchers were C.J. Wilson (2x) & Alexi Ogando
What do I win?

Quincy Varnish is correct. Well done. Alexi Ogando is completely gone from my memory.
