I see the same old, same old Tigers at work. They don't seem to be able to get to the next level. Two losses that were very winnable games this year if you don't make so many key mistakes(penalties/turnovers) in crucial moments in a game. I'm willing to cut Pribula some slack with this being his first season as a starter but he needs to be better when it matters most. Drinkwitz is just too conservative at times when he could put the team in a much better position to win. His clock management is also a real head scratcher. Just my opinion watching the Tigers last 30 years. 10 win seasons are nice but a national title is the goal right?
Not blaming Pribula. I'm sure the kid did the best he could.
But the simple truth is: If the Tigers had a top-notch QB, and a decent place kicker, the team would be headed for the playoffs.

Missouri had better players on the field, Vandy had better coaches on the sidelines.
One thing I was right about is Pavia is way overrated.
Mizzou pretty much contained him. Mizzou was the better team.
The reason why Vandy lucked out was poor play calling by Mizzou offensive coordinator and no decent field goal kicker.
I knew Mizzou would be in trouble with the Blake Craig injury.
Someone said Mizzou is snake bitten. I tend to agree.
Yesterday on the way back from Nash-Vegas I heard Bernie Miklasz on KMOX. He was chastising Drink for complaining about the refs. I agree that we had our chances & could have/should have won. But then I watched my recording of the game. I had figured that the D had let down on the 80-yard Vandy TD run. After not scoring from first & goal, losing Pribula then Meyers hitting the post I thought the D was deflated & got whipped on that play. If you watch that play, Carnell was in the backfield. He was held then tackled as the RB went by. At the same time Pride was held on the edge, then blocked in the back into Burkes eliminating both of them. Trotter had a bead on the RB but his arm was grabbed spinning him around & just for good measure so he couldn't pursue the RB his jersey was grabbed. Any number of penalties could have been called on that play. So, Bernie, yes, Mizzou made mistakes & coulda, shoulda won, but Vandy made mistakes too. AND the refs didn't help.
