Auburn's best shot? It's seldom good enough.
That attitude will get a team beat. I'm certain Drinkwitz and staff don't share that view.

Auburn opened a -1.5 favorite so we know what the pros and their computers think.
And now Mizzou is favored by 1.5

I was surprised at the first line. This is more what I would have thought. Still going to be a very tough game.
The current number is more in step with the Power Index.

The crowd doesn't play last time I looked. Auburn sucks.

I've just gotten through the first half of UGA @ Auburn. Those Tigers looked very good & got hosed as bad as we did. Arnold looked to have scored to make it 17-zip right before half, but refs said he fumbled before crossing goal line. Everyone except the refs disagreed. Play was halted many, many times for reviews. Seemed to last hours. Freeze was NOT happy. I'll watch the 2nd half tomorrow.

I'll provide the spoiler. Auburn scored 0 points in the 2nd half as Smart obviously made adjustments and Freeze froze.

Those Tigers . . . got hosed as bad as we did.
Matt Hinton and I disagree. I like his wider thoughts on replay too.

Scan for "Notebook" or read his whole wrap-up. It's worth your time.

Auburn didn't do much in the 2nd half, but neither did UGA. Auburn's D is good. (They could have used that controversial TD & who knows what would have happened if they had gotten it.) We better eliminate the mistakes we made vs Bama or this game will be another nailbiter.
