Auburn is going to have a difficult week. They had an excruciating loss to a rival last night

It may be Wednesday before they even realize another quality team is on tap.

It’ll be a fascinating matchup. Both teams stinging from a loss in a game they REALLY wanted. Both teams picked over early in the season and have shown glimpses of being way better than expectations. Both teams have great defenses. I think what will give us the edge is QB play and our running game if we’ll commit and execute. I’m not sold on their QB, we kind of beat him up last year and this year he’s been a little shaky. Hopefully we’re in his head early and make him hear footsteps all night.

This could be a game won in the trenches and I like our chances in a game like that.

Tigers need to be mentally and emotionally prepared to play in a very difficult environment on a Saturday night. MIZ !

That difficult environment will be quelled significantly after last night's game

Auburn's season is already over at 0-3 in the SEC. That should help a little. Their confidence can't be that high. And they've had all kinds of trouble scoring. Arnold is not great by any means at QB. Of course, neither is Pribula.

Auburn has lost to three top-10 teams, by 6 and 7 on the road and by 10 last night. I believe Missouri will get their best shot next week.

Auburn's best shot? It's seldom good enough. But it might be Saturday if Pribula and Moore stink it up again.

If some of these forum posters said that about Mizzou, then they would say we have NO shot next week

That attitude will get a team beat. I'm certain Drinkwitz and staff don't share that view.

Auburn opened a -1.5 favorite so we know what the pros and their computers think.

My attitude as a fan makes no difference whatsoever in the outcome of the game. So rest easy. I just don't have that much respect for Auburn. Why should I? They don't have an offense. And if Missouri can't beat Auburn, then they had no real chance of making the playoffs this year. The Tigers should expect to beat Auburn like a lot of other teams do.

I've wondered how much all the yelling affects play. It was very loud when Bama had the ball on Saturday. Their play didn't seem to suffer much. It was relatively quiet when we had possession & we didn't look as good as we had in past games. Everything looked great to start the game as we scored & throttled Bama's first couple of plays then the dumb unsportsmanlike penalty seemed to turn the momentum around. We didn't look like the same team that had gone 5-0 & started this game so well.
The late start in Auburn & the high prices for very average lodging in Opelika have changed my travel plans. I figure if we leave early Saturday morning we'll get there early in the afternoon & have plenty of time to see campus & "tailgate". Going to Montgomery after the game & playing RTJ on Sunday. Hopefully, with a win under our belts! MIZ!

I was surprised at the first line. This is more what I would have thought. Still going to be a very tough game.
