Another winnable game (upset) away. Pribula just isn’t seasoned enough yet to pick this team up and make a couple of plays. A 3 point loss will be hard to swallow. Lots of mistakes including the gift touchdown to start the game because of the undisciplined penalty on a third and long deep in Alabama territory.

Alabama had a few 4th down conversions where they just kept their composure and made plays. Really the difference in the game. Mizzou just isn’t there yet.

Yet being the key word....a loss at the halfway point, when you had a chance to win it at the end, isn't the outcome you want but the player's now know they can hang with the big boys. I would love to see more play action and more creativity on offense moving forward. Defense looked decent...I mean 'Bama isn't a slouch. This loss can be a springboard for better things...just ask 'Bama

I believe they lost the game in the OC's booth.

They never established the running game.

They never gave Roberts the touches.

Third down empty set backfields on short yardage plays.....just beautiful.

Then on the final drive they could have picked them apart on short passes to get down field but went for it with Pribula running around... looking long.....the same Pribula WHO WAS NOT ON HIS PASSING GAME.

Just a horribly managed game on that side of the ball. They gave this game away.

Turnovers. The INT's.

The undisciplined penalty early you can count that as a turnover as well which led to 'Bama's first score instead of third and 15 which could have led to a short field for the offense with a 7-0 lead and all the momentum. Who knows if that would have led to a another score.

Whatever happened in the booth you can't make those mistakes and beat Alabama.

Yep....you can't win when you have two critical INTs....that's on Pribula, Drink ain't out on the field making those throws. Plenty of blame to go around....

Moore’s offense looks a lot like Drink’s offense before he gave up the OC job. I just think Drink plays it safe and for him a close loss playing it safe vs Bama is better than getting blown out by trying to win. I also think he better find a way to get Zollers some snaps to see what he can do, because I don’t care how much NIL $$$ you give out, premium QBs aren’t going to come here to run an offense that is based on 5 yd passes.

I'm not going to say that they should have won this game but they most definitely could have won. The fake punt was a bad call, just leave your offense on the field. The onside kick was even worse. It's still only a one possession game. The odds of recovering is so small that you just kick it away. You're going to have to stop them anyway it might as well be deep in their own territory.
One of the few things the announcers got right was the tigers inability to stretch the field. You need to at least try early in the game.

Should have ran it down Bama's throats today. View every possession as legitimately 4 downs to run it 10 yards. Then exploit them for huge passes off the playaction.

You got the best run offense in the nation and you stick it in your back pocket for the final drive. Unbelievable

Clearest take so far. The game is over now and coaches should work hard not to let the Tide beat them twice. Auburn is better than they've shown and would be pretty good if Freeze ever remembers he has some running backs. First road game for Missouri is an added hazard.

I'm referring to your comment above.....the final drive and your suggestion to have run the ball.

There was what....1:25 left on that final possession and no time outs.

I wanted them to run the whole game but not there.

Missouri has the talent now except at QB. I can see now why Pribula hadn't beaten out Horn into Game 1. Hopefully, he'll improve in the 2nd half of this year.

To make it to 10-2, they'll need to hold serve in the final 2 home games vs. aTm and MSU and go 3-1 on the road vs. Auburn, Vandy, OU and Arky. That's doable, but Pribula and Moore have to be better.

One thing I noticed is we have another star in the making: Donovan Olugbode.
He can flat out catch a football. Move over Kevin Coleman.
Deep down, I knew Mizzou would lose. It is ok.

There was no moral victory. The defense gave them at least 3 chances in the 4th quarter. Moore and Drink just stinks. Bama wanted to give it away and Mizzou didn't want to win. Pribula was absolutely awful. All he had to do was not throw a stupid pass, but he did. He threw 2 deep balls in the second half and the reciever was running a different route. Thats on Pribula and the O Coord.
