West looks rough. Blues are going to need a Lucic type early on potentially

Re: Kings - Avs
this game looks like a couple of idiots humping a football. the west IS rough. Has always been. thats the differentiating factor between the two leagues and why the west for the most part for the last 10 years has been the superior conference. Also, why Florida is so dominant right now. They took the west template and just body everyone.

Def wish we had Looch on Thursday
Foligno. Middleton. Trenin
Wild are one of those handful of teams that bullies us around every year

Re: Kings - Avs
Lucic would beat the (bleep) out of Foligno buddy, that is how it works
Re: Kings - Avs
That Malott dude was a loose cannon
Re: Kings - Avs
No its not, if it were Lucic wouldn't be unsigned. Games are 60 minutes long and Lucic is good for about 4. If you want toughness to matter it is a team concept and the players actually on the ice playing hockey have to be tough.
Re: Kings - Avs
You are straw manning my original point into something about not understanding how team toughness works. Are you seriously arguing that adding a guy like Lucic (or similar Heavy) doesn’t add to your team toughness significantly? Let’s see Foligno take a run at 50 with him in the lineup. The Sens just traded for MacDermid so they wouldn’t get bullied by teams like the Habs.skilles wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 01:12 amNo its not, if it were Lucic wouldn't be unsigned. Armstrong made the same points to the press as to why they signed him to a tryout. He’s still in the mix hope they find a place for him, for nights like Thursday against the Wild
