Arenado will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Goldy is more borderline, but most likely makes it eventually.Bully4you wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 08:07 am Now that both are gone.
Is it the consensus that they should or should not be in the Hall?
Terrible in the playoffs.
Neither are leaders of men.
Both have stats that are vastly overrated due to ball parks they played in.
I'm not sold on either going to the hall.

If Arenado's next two years resemble his previous two seasons, then my 2 cents are he may forfeit that 1st-ballot status as that will be the better part of 4 seasons where he will have struggled. However, he has the body of work + GGs attesting to his defensive prowess to ensure he is eventually elected to the HOF.Stlcardsblues wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 16:46 pmArenado will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Goldschmidt should make it but it will take between 5-10 years for him to get there, imo. I thought he'd have a better season in NY, especially if he could have taken advantage of the shorter porch in LF, but it wasn't meant to be.
