If we make the playoffs in softball, those are on opening night Oct 9, first game possibly starting late in the mid third. We are 0-2 having lost two games by a single run. So I should tank for a top 5 pick and so I can watch the whole game.

Besides no playoffs needed already glowing all week from Tuesday night’s coed championship which we won like this:

Battitude 0 0 0 2 3 5 6
Pro Ballers 2 1 5 1 1 0 0

Boy, I miss the days of playing slow pitch 4+ times per week. Mainly at parks in the city: Forest Park, Wilmore, Berra. Did play quite a bit at JB in the county. My body is too broken down now to play, but we sure had a great time back in the day!

I've played at and around many of st louis parks in the 80s. The annual Snowball tourn in February was a regular for many of us. I wonder if that's still a thing.
