Unless something truly idiotic happens we have seen the last of Miles Mikolas.

Good riddance to that slug.
If a single pitcher used Friday is on the team in 2026, it should be Mikolas. Hopefully we can do better that all 4.

The last 12 months worth of ERAs out of Mikokas:

5.91
5.18
4.85
3.94
6.39
6.14

4.66
3.08
6.58
5.06
6.04
3.81

It doesn't take much for you, does it?

Sadly he was the best pitcher going for the Cards today. This team is supremely screwed.
thanks to MO
No, no, no....Thanks to DeWitt. Mo marched to DeWitt's drums. You can't expect to build a nice house with scraps.
I don’t agree. Moe had $178 million to build the house and he screwed it up big time. Bill finally took the toys away from that incompetent boob of a man.
It's obvious that Mo made some bad choices, but if you think DeWitt didn't sign off on all of them I've got a bridge for sale. Now a lot of you are acting like Bloom is the new messiah. Hint....He's been fired before. What does that tell you?

This season's been over since July. It's just a shame they didn't lose a lot more. Could have won a lot more with a few simple changes, but whatevs.
And you better hope they do a better job at drafting than the bunch that had 2 first round picks and missed out on Judge.

This season was over at last years' end of the season press conference. Fans didn't want to hear it. We are being told upfront what next season will look like, and yet I'm certain there will be outrage from some that we don't make the playoffs next year. Again, fans don't want to hear it.

JMO - yes DeWitt signs off on all deals.

So what?? Dewitt isn’t out scouting them. Dewitt doesn’t bring the deals to himself.

Dewitt paid Mozeliak handsomely for Mozeliak to run the baseball operations.

Mozeliak continuously bet on the wrong guys.

Dewitt is not Jerry Jones who does run everything.

Mozeliak is the biggest problem by a huge margin.

But a new chapter begins and I am excited.

One doesn't know how involved DeWitt was in the day to day but ultimately the buck stops with the owner. To think otherwise is to not be living in reality.
