Silver Lining on a bad day at the park
Despite Mikolas allowing 3 HR in his outing today there is good news:
Unless something truly idiotic happens we have seen the last of Miles Mikolas.
Good riddance to that slug.

Sadly he was the best pitcher going for the Cards today. This team is supremely screwed.

Good thing these last three games don't mean anything.

PLUS one day closer to the death of MO Ran's time in FO. Should also be celebrated that DimWallet has yet to create a "way", that fans are aware of, for MO Ran to keep his incompetent influence in the FO. Each day is a small victory.

But he eats innings and gets devoured while doing it. 2nd lowest K rate in MLB and lowest BB rate, I learned today. Batted-ball luck is his main strategy. With an innings qualifier.
Good riddance indeed...and change the locks! For him and Mozeliak.

lol, how is potentially improving the team's draft position a "bad day at the park?"
This season's been over since July. It's just a shame they didn't lose a lot more. Could have won a lot more with a few simple changes, but whatevs.

So no chance of Cards signing him to a one year deal? Maybe on Mo's way out the door? The "let's see if he can find it again" 1 year deal?
These last three years have been baseball sad. Next year ... more of the same?

It will be just like when a person takes their brand new Yugo out for a ride and at mile 4 you need a tow.

I don’t agree. Moe had $178 million to build the house and he screwed it up big time. Bill finally took the toys away from that incompetent boob of a man.CCard wrote: ↑28 Sep 2025 12:18 pmNo, no, no....Thanks to DeWitt. Mo marched to DeWitt's drums. You can't expect to build a nice house with scraps.

If a single pitcher used Friday is on the team in 2026, it should be Mikolas. Hopefully we can do better that all 4.
