Mid to low level prospect and salary relief. He's still good defensively but not really average at the plate.
This should put Bloom's scouting ability to a good test.
LOL...If Bloom were a miracle worker he wouldn't have been out of a job. He's here for one reason, he managed to get a low budget team to the playoffs a few times. They want him to put a winner on the field without spending any money. Nobody is that smart.

An empty and available roster spot at which to plug in a better, younger player.
except Gorman isn't that.
The Cardinals have half a dozen ways to improve at 3B - Gorman, of course, being one of them.
Sometime this evening, I will provide the correct plan STL should follow to achieve success in 2026 and the years following.
Including 3B.
Stay tuned.

Gorman at 3B and achieving success in 2026- that should hold entertainment value if nothing else.

The key to education is engagement.
Fortunately, I excel at producing both.
Stay tuned.

In which year will Gorman provide more production than Nado's average from 2021 to 2023? Or even something close to it? His 5th year? His 6th year? After he leaves for another team as a FA?

The correct answer it to replace Nado from the outside with someone who can replace his past production. And since that won't happen in 2026, might as well keep Nado until then if we can't get a relatively massive reinvestable amount of savings from trading him.

If the peanuts saved just go back into BDWs pocket, there is no reason for real fans to support a deal yet.
