Mo has some sweet talking to do

Post by Shady »

Trying to get Arenado and Gray to ease up on their NTCs. And massaging some teams into taking on as much salary as possible. The player return for them is rather inconsequential. The Cardinals need Arenado's spot for future development. They simply need to dump as much of Gray's salary as possible before they are "on the hook" for a huge bite to their budget. Gray's departure would be easier to take if Mathews and Roby were ready.

I'm sure those two can see right through MO.

besides, Nado is probably tired of being lied to.

I'm personally tired of watching Arenado bat .237 with a .669 OPS.

Mo is going to do the bare minimum this week. Don't expect much.

Hopefully Mo/Bloom aka Blo are spending their energy trying to work out trade deals on the expiring contracts and finding new homes for Nootbaar and Gorman.

Im all for this strategy. But I have a feeling Mo will waste time on futile efforts to trade the guys with NTCs.

Not if Mo is handling this. He does one thing. The bare minimum.

Doesn't Mo have plenty of help in the front office to help negotiate on different aspects going into the trade deadline? They need some good teamwork this week.

No, there's no one else.
