Not worth a thread but the Blues/Dallas game will be on NHL Network this weekend.

That chart is about how I feel about the team as well. We go as far as one round, as long as our goaltending holds up.

However
if we can get Schenn happy on a third or fourth line wing.
If Suter can Career Year a scoring second line center position.
If Sunny gets cut.
If DD gets and Excell as a third line center
If Snuggs can keep up.
If Our old defense doesn't show their age.
If we get, but don't count on defense scoring.
If Thomas, Kyrou, Buch, Neighbours, Holloway, Suter, all have career years.
If monty can drive the wagon. Under.08.
If we don't turtle with 30 or 20, or 5 minutes to go.
If Binny play very good.
If money saved from [defecating] on, and kicking JK to the curb buys Stillman that 08 gmc.

I think we may be okay. Not cup winners. But, cha ching, with some clang clang.

Yeah. In another thread someone wanted us to feel SORRY for the Buffalo fans. Smelly seems to think they are in NHL heaven!

I see what you did there.
What your problem with coach.

As you know. Because I speak truth about dear leader. Forum trolls and their supporters look past my post. They don't read it.

But they read you. Most didn't notice or see, until you made it bold and pointed it out. Your not dumb, you know this. So what's your problem with coach.

For me. He has the same mannerisms that I've seen in some of my family from Milwaukee and friends from Keystone. No shade to him, Im clueless if he has problem or not. however you must of seen something too.
I'm just saying. if the wheel was to break. Lockroom issues will have a reason to be LR issues.
Making but one-way to go.

HighStick wrote: 17 Sep 2025 17:19 pm I agree with the other posters. This is a dumb chart. The Blues were 1.6 seconds away from shocking the hockey world and beating the Presidents trophy winner to advance to the 2nd round but now they are in no-man's land? And all they lost was Bolduc, Faksa and Suter? Which one of those guys was the catalyst? I guess they aren't aware of Monty and what hes accomplished.

Dumb chart!
Without a doubt, we are in no-man's land.

Following last season's promising, record-breaking finish by the Blues, smart hockey people are telling me that the division just got noticeably and significantly stronger, and the club may not start nearly as well as they finished. This floundering, uncertainty is no-man's land.

What smart hockey guy told me this? My sock puppet, Douglas Army.

Without a doubt, it's a worthless chart.

Only someone with extremely limited hockey knowledge would use it for anything other than wiping their dog's (bleep).

Calling all smart hockey men…

What do you typically use to wipe your dogs backend?

I was not aware that this was necessary.

Literally anything you write on here can be used to wipe any animals (donkey). Now, run along and work on your next anti-Blues/anti-Armstrong topic.

Blue Jackets and Mammoth also?
Lol, OK...

None of those teams even made the playoffs last season, but the Blues are the team in 'no man's land'
I'm not suggesting that we are in a Stanley Cup window, but I guess I just don't understand the logic of that chart.
It's called No-Man's land because there is no team is operating like them. The other teams care about winning a Cup. St Louis cares about tending the cash register.
Actually, its called "no man's land" because Dom's model historically undervalues how those teams are building, and writers there are contractually obligated to toe the line when it comes to Dom. Honestly, you and Dom have a lot In common inasmuch as you both believe tanking is the only way to build a team, and cannot breakdown in the face of counterexamples.

Boston refused to tear down, so Dom doesnt know what to do with them.

Ottawa is nearing Buffalo territory for perpetual futility despite hitting on high picks, so Dom doesnt know what to do with then.

Its really simple. The records dont lie.

Can you provide a list of these smart hockey men? By all accounts with the exception of the Blues and Mammoth, most teams in the Central either held serve or took a step backwards with many pundits not really knowing where to classify Chicago yet, due to their youth.

Are you kidding?

Take a listen to your GM and what he has to say about the Central Division. You really need to listen more to my sock puppet.
