Nothing else matters.
I get the yearning, but that cannot be literally true. Having been a Blues fan since the beginning what has been demonstrated to matter most is (1) having a team, and (2) having a competitive team. Winning playoff games and series is icing on the cake.

Nope.
Has to be 10 Cups.
And we have to have at least 4 Trophy winners every year(Hart, Norris, Vezina, etc...).
And we have to pick in the top 5 every single year.

Anything less and we might as well just fold the Franchise cause we clearly aren't doing things right.

1000% imagine sitting through Hawks hockey the last 10 years, or Sabre's for the last however many years, or any other number of teams. Guarantee you those fans arent as excited for the start of this season like we are. Def something to be said for having a decent team to watch.

Great question. Eager to see what everyone thinks.

Winning Cup would be great, but not mandatory for me to be satisfied.

Relative to the Cup, if they are legitimately in contention for the Cup for 5 of the 10 years, I would be very satisfied.

Just getting into the playoffs is not a crank-turner for me.

The most important requirement is that we have elite players to watch 24x7x365--like many other teams. I want to see our players show up in the elite lists like Hull and Oates, Pronger, etc.

The next most important requirement is that I can see a natural progress in team strength. I don't want to see a team winning in the playoffs with a 4th-line that is mostly gone or retired the next year. I don't want the GM to tell me to not expect the winning to continue like it ended last year--because everybody else has gotten better in the division.

This made me laugh. That is what some people expect around here. 😂

This is the only answer. Add top 5 in jersey sales, and we literally have the greatest franchise in the history of great franchises.

I did not see this till now.
Unbeknownst to me, I must be giving off a demanding GM vibe.
Maybe the Blues will hire me. :)

Wow. Possibly I'm more extreme than Mike Keenan. And here I thought I was just another nice guy.

Ok 8 years, wow so far off, should i calculate the exact number of days next time? So we don't miss the glory years lol? They still talk about that in Chicago like the '85 Bears?

I would put my money against there being a league 10 years from now. Free speech ended this week things are rapidly turning. Einstein was Einstein because he got out in 33 not 37. We're at 37 or 38 now. We tried our best to get out 4 years ago but we haven't yet been able.
