I think Parayko is poised to have his best offensive season professionally yet.
Very possibly, but that isn't even who I meant!
Are you referencing Fowler?
Yes he had 46pts in 58 games including playoffs which was a major contributing factor to the Blues turnaround.
oh I think Fowler is primed to have a huge season as well. Parayko is exactly the type of partner he's been waiting for. He can play his offensive game knowing he has one of the best defensive defensemen in the game on his opposite side. He hasn't had that in quite some time.

I figure if he gets off to a hot start it won't be long before he gets his extension done. I'm sure Doug doesn't want to get into the same situation he got in with Scandella and Leddy. He wants to see if last years performance will translate into this season as well.
Right before "The Streak" began, DA made his last two genius moves. First, he cut Saad, who was a walking example of competing whenever he found himself in the mood... which happened in about three games. This put Holloway on the second line with Kyrou (after Texier blew the shot). Then, he picked up Fowler, who was a GREAT D Man stuck on a lousy team with a weak fan base. Lord knows what Fowler can do with a full training camp and a full season here.

I think Broberg, sooner than people think, will score around 20 goals a year. His speed and skills are those of a top 10 draft pick, one who is paying off. I believe playing with Faulk a lot kept him down, offensively. He had to cover the House while Faulk led the breakouts and played PP minutes. The PP minutes are what will help Broberg flirt with 20 in the future.
Broberg may continue to be shut out of PP time with Faulk, Fowler, and Mailloux's big bloody bomb from the point all loaded up and primed in Monty's arsenal. That might be a shame, but I will wait and see.

Im at 12gs 38 assists for Broberg

Mailloux is such a wildcard i dont know how to predict i think he scores 8 goals that would be a huge step 8gs 25 pts? That would tell me he has holding down a spot in the line up every night

A fair assessment.
He has scored, admittedly in a stupid small sample, at a 20 goal pace as a 21 year old. Two goals in 7 games with the Habs, and throw in 2 assissts in those 7 games and it looks peachy. His plus-minus and "jittery" choices are the big question marks. He WILL score. But, will he cost us as much or more as he grows as an NHL'r?

I will say objectively with Mailloux literally nothing will surprise me if he goes off for 20 goals i would not be shocked at all.

We're likely going to need to be patient with Maillioux.
As great as we all think Broberg is, remember that he only had 11 points through his first 81 games with Edmonton [over the span of 3 partial seasons]

perhaps Maillioux will exceed that. perhaps he won't...
I'm anxious to see how he looks in pre-season

Back to the Mailloux part of the topic.
I originally mistyped "Maillox". Let us hope that he never makes us reach for any.

I would argue that perhaps all he needs to bring his defensive play up to reasonable levels is poise and experience.
He doesn't seem to lack any other tools.

Lol i know right, people are ablaze over Wiim and similar. I will say though as you may know just because its 24 bit doesnt always means it sounds better than the CD version. I tried several comparisons i still liked PF Meddle for instance on the disc, also Dire Straits S/T and Donald Fagen NIghtfly. To me these didnt have the harsher high end of the streamer. But yea with the Ultra and Wiims amp if someone were to use that setup with a decent pair a speakers its a very affordable way to listen to hifi.
On another note check out Morrow Audio if you arent familiar. Mike Morrow makes high end interconnects and speaker cable out of his garage. He was pretty close in KY but i think he relocated to MI. I replaced my old mish mash of ICs with two pair of his and again i was very surprised to hear a difference. Much better soundstage, depth clarity great service and products
