That's what I was thinking. Kicking off at noon doesn't seem to avoid the heat problem. I think a 6pm kick would have been better.
If you were Louisiana would you rather get home at 7PM-8PM at night or 1AM-2AM in the morning? I'm sure they were presented with both options and chose the earlier one.

I was wondering about noon being cooler too. We'll be in the sun for the whole game as opposed to some of the stands & field in the shade later in the game if it started at 3.
I looked at SECN & don't even see a replay later in the evening or on Sunday. Some of the SEC games are replayed several times & they were available on TV live. You'd think they'd have more people watching a replay of a game that was broadcast to the + watchers only than a game that anyone could have recorded when it was carried live non-streaming.

CST = UTC - 6 hours.
CDT = UTC - 5 hours.

Thank you for your time.
Do I hear an echo? ;-)

They said it was about the heat not Louisiana's return time.

"Me fail English? That's unpossible."

The broadcast will not be affected. It's just at a different time.

Hdhntr roots for Illinois. They are still in 1995 over there so give him a break.
