That's the only reason they were able to move it. Good timing for the annual PLUS game.

Georgia moved up their plus game a couple of hours last week vs Austin Peay due to expected thunder storms, which still ended up delaying the game.

That's what I was thinking. Kicking off at noon doesn't seem to avoid the heat problem. I think a 6pm kick would have been better.

It probably was, and there's no reason to assume it "wasn't". Georgia wasn't allowed to move their game to 6 pm last week.

I suspect the coaches want to get on the field asap to get off it asap. And this gives Drink & Co. an opportunity to watch Vandy SC and prepare better for those upcoming games.
