We've seen enough of Saggese, he's JAG (.242 .284 .314 .598).
BUT
We both know who the Manager is and he's going to (IMO) hand 3rd base back to NADO and Norman will go back to 2nd base or DH.

Prove that he can hit, since you think his defense isn't in question and allows KKorn to prove he can field 3b and get ABs. Pretty straightforward.
Nado paying 3b means nothing
KKorn getting reps to show any fielding ability does.

Sick of even having to talk about this guy anymore. He should be the Astros problem.

Okay if you accept, we're done for this year.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑09 Sep 2025 12:04 pmProve that he can hit, since you think his defense isn't in question and allows KKorn to prove he can field 3b and get ABs. Pretty straightforward.

They aren't out of the wild card yet.
So, you are a quitter then.
Good to know who we're dealing with!!

I see both sides of the equation here. Play him and see if he can boost trade value. Sit him and go with the youth movement.
The only hangup is even if he boosts his value, he must accept a trade. Its not a given this happens.

I can nderstand wanting a GG. Rarely does one have that type season. The intent is well understood.
Risking further damage and his personal health and the future of the Cardinals as a team must also warrant sane type consideration.

Consensus of opinion favors him being traded.
I agree.
I also agree on the need to play others(Gorman, etc).
However....if you really hope to move him in the offseason showing that he is healthy could be critical.
