But, you have to be comfortable with a ton of strikeouts and considerable dry-spells. But, I do believe across 162 with full playing time, he'd put up 30-35 home runs, easy.

We will have to trade for pitching in the offseason. If him or Walker or both is what we have to trade to get then you trade them. If we can’t get good pitching for them then Gorman can back up 3B 2B 1B DH next year. Walker has another minor league option. Personally I would start him in AAA next year. When he hits ops of over 800 at AAA consistently then bring him up or trade him. Jmo

Every time he has a hot couple games everyone comes out to say how we just can't get rid of him, he's on the edge.

What is it now? Today 0-4 with 3 K's puts him down to a .214 avg .709 ops. Yes I see the walk rate. I find myself saying (especially when I wear my Gorman apologist hat) that every player not named Albert Pujols is going to get their numbers in streaks.

Let's just take the pulse today, is Gorman still irreplaceable? He very well could be around next year to show us another year, since we are going to need to fill out a roster.

I just don't see how, outside of a potential career year, most of his seasons don't end up around a similar .210-.230 BA with 20-25 homers, 30 on the high side. Injury prone and inconsistent power. Where have we seen that before?

Would love to be proven wrong. Of course at 2nd base his power provides some value, and he for sure plays a better 2nd base than he does 3rd base.

Both are really bad. Really bad. I mean really bad. Sports Illustrated just had a great article about how bad this organization is. Much worse than most of you clown fans think. They said a good team might want 1 or two players. They wouldn’t even say who. Other than that, they are a decade away, with a total rebuild. I’ve only been saying this for seven-eight years now. Neither does S. Gray or WillyC even though I'm a fan of both.

From what I gather Bloom is going to meet w/all three, layout his plan for the re-build and see if they want to waive their NTC's.
