Oh, well, it doesn't matter. Here's hoping Bloom makes major changes, but improvement will take time. Right now, there is no ace or No. 2 pitcher and no MOTO bat of any significance. That's a big problem.

Potentially two 90 loss seasons in 3 years. That's pathetic for the StL Cardinals. Tear it down this winter. Move as many off this team as possible. Clear it all out.

Winning each of the series

Of course 12-4 would be bonus if one of thr series is swept

If the Cards can win each series thru the 27th , they could close in on the wildcard .
The Reds series then follows on the 29th.
They could be very close with September’s 27 games remaining.
Go Cards !
With all due respect what on earth makes you think they can win that many games in that stretch?

Is it the weak starting pitching?

Is it the inconsistent sketchy hitting?

Is it the injured starters being out?

Is it the number of errors committed by a young infield?

Is it the solid managing and coaching?

Is it the obvious team enthusiasm to finish the season?

Is it the stellar fan support???

What? What??

That has doomed this team big time.
Arenado’s defense was good but his bat stunk.

Scott still hasn’t proven he can hit ML pitching.

Donovan I agree with.

But the woes of this team are far deeper than these 3.

Just means the team has no depth/prospects able to step up and fill the void.

Brewers are down Jackson Chourio, Rhys Hoskins, Joseph Ortiz, Trevor Megill, and a few starting/relief pitchers and still seem to be doing okay.
